The Fastec Hispec 1 high speed camera is designed for capturing high speed images in low light. It is extremely sensitive, with 3 200 ISO in monochrome and 1 600 ISO in colour. About High speed camera Fastec Imaging HiSpec 1
This high speed camera comes equipped with a 1.3 megapixel (10 bit) CMOS sensor with a global electronic shutter. It provides excellent definition at a frame rate of up to 500 frames per second for a resolution of 1280 × 1024 px. It is capable of capturing high speed videos at up to 112 000 fps. This high speed camera can fit in anywhere, thanks to its tiny size (only 63 mm × 63 mm × 65 mm) and its super light weight of 0.28 kg (excluding the lens).
In order to provide optimal efficiency and ease of use, the Hispec1 high speed camera is equipped with a GiGE interface and comes with a user-friendly PC software package. This software enables control of the camera and its recordings, as well as phase-lock synchronisation of multiple cameras with a master camera or external module.
It is also equipped with an ImageBLITZ® automatic trigger, so that you can quickly capture images of random events. The video camera also has a multi-sequence mode, enabling you to record several events by dividing the memory into 2, 4, 8 or 16 separate recordings. It has 2 GB of memory as standard, which can be extended to 4 GB.
